Bai Su Zhen, the gentle and benevolent white python demoness, is the main character in this opera. The background characters are an poetry by Liu Yong.
Translation: Sensitive can easily bring about grief as we separated. The cool and withered fall is more than I could bear. Where would I be after drunk tonight? There will be the osier riverside, Along with the wind at dawn and the leaved moon. Cause I will leave for several years, It’s a waste of that wonderful time, And the perfect sight. Though the beauties are various amorous, On whom should it rely? Painted with watercolour...it is a gift for all my friends in China...I miss you so much! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes.
